[14:24] The page is output from Freemind http://freemind.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page [14:25] I'll take a look [14:25] Hi Mizcu ... was reading about nethack on bvowk's page [14:26] I don't really want to use Java on my webpage [14:26] I'm busy updating. I need to improve the navigation [14:28] The standalone app is Java. The output on that page is html (also possible/fancier is javascript) [14:28] I just found this in the small-print of a websites Terms of Service [14:28] "that I may be pursued to the ends of the earth and stalked electronically [14:28] * Waknuk chuckles [14:31] * Waknuk is wondering about Nenad's tournmanet [14:33] Take part, the more people play, the more fun it will be [14:35] I can likely play the beginning. It'll be tricky if it lasts into Jan/Feb [14:35] Nice to see SF at #1. [14:37] Did the Psycho Pair round of Recoder's Frenzy ever happen? [14:37] Erm, not sure [14:37] Join: sascha joined #corewars [14:38] hi Sascha [14:38] Hi Miz.... [14:38] The results aren't online on www.corewar.info anyway [14:38] Hi Sascha [14:39] Hi John, any Traffic arround here in the ast Days ! [14:40] I found the results in r.g.c - Wendell/Macrae/Inversed [14:40] Sorry, many Traffic here [14:43] Yes, been busy for a change [14:43] Hi Sascha [14:43] Anyone here use social bookmarking? [14:43] is there a decent competitor to del.icio.us ? [14:44] * Waknuk doesn't but thinks about it [14:44] Not sure [14:45] By the way - what happens to the last tournament. I see an announcement for a new one, but i miss the result of the summer tournament ! [14:46] data didnt have time to continue [14:46] why didn't he transfer leadership to another player ? [14:47] dunno [14:50] I thought I had a del.icio.us account, but I can't find it [14:50] I've got a stumbleupon account - http://corewar.stumbleupon.com/favorites/ [14:50] Sends quite a bit of traffic to my websites ;-) [14:51] in the moment i think about siomething like zooom-trick but for changing scanners-stepsize after a small number of cycle's. First 20 scans with steps against qscan and than smaller ones against boted components. [14:53] That's been done using a prescan. However if you can somehow include it in the actual scanner it might be better [14:54] think so, hope to realize that with mininum overhead. [14:56] Hope i can come up with a new scan engine in two weeks or so. Technical its o.k, but i try to reduse overhead for poiter correction by one instruction so that its size is like Herbal Avenger or HSA, but that seems very tricky for me. I have no scanner-experience ! [14:57] But i won't give up so fast... [14:59] :-) [15:01] well, in theory you could think HSA: dec: sub.f #ptr, ptr , and use djn.f scan, dec after main loop [15:02] the reduction would remain small, however [15:02] Yes, but i already use zooom loop trick and want to do it both with that. Change jmp-vector and step size [15:03] ut in the moment i can't free any b-field in that machine.. [15:03] unlikely that you can do that with zooomish [15:03] yes, figure out something new. [15:04] Hmm, i should buy a "Moore-Style-Brain" to solve that prob ;-) [15:05] Just have the two steps stored in two locations next to each other [15:05] Then decrement (or increment) a pointer to the step [15:07] yes, it should by decrement only one time, and no more ever. That correction coming with zooom-tricks isn't possilbe two times.. [15:12] something like this comes to mind, but still no zooom [15:12] sub.b #111, 2 [15:12] mov.i b, }-1 [15:12] add.ba #step, #step [15:12] jmz.f -1, *-1 [15:15] John, that stumbleup link gives a 404 [15:15] stumbleupon I mean. [15:16] i'm still try it to mix with zooom ;-) [15:16] O.k,time for lunch...cu [15:16] Waknuk: works here [15:16] MSG: Quit: Dana [15:16] * John wave to Sascha [15:17] Did for me now too. funny as I'm just clicking, not typing.
