[08:20] as in assemble -> disassemble [08:21] so you're left with code without labels [08:22] essentialy what the SAL sends you back every time you submit [08:22] pmars -r 0 warrior.red > warrior.rc [08:22] tnx :) [08:23] corewin will also show the assembled code in its internal editor [08:26] works like a charm [10:34] Join: Core_old joined #corewars [12:06] Join: Fluffy joined #corewars [12:06] :) [12:07] . [16:23] Well I didn't submit it to the dream hill, but it kind of worked when I thought my way through the code step by step [16:26] Maybe it does work afterall :-) [16:27] You don't have a hill in your dream? How strange is that! [16:27] ;) [16:53] John: Do you plan to update the HoF in the next days? [20:57] i was reading the anatomy of a scanner article yesterday [20:58] and i came to the conclusion that a basic scanner would lose against a regular imp, as by the time it found an imp occupied core location and moved to attack mode, the imp has probably moved too far ahead for it be effective.. does this sound right? [20:58] might be ... depends on the imp [20:59] Most scanners contain an imp gate, so that would be no problem [20:59] err ... "depends on the scanner, not imp" :) [21:01] thats what i was thinking [21:01] that as part of the loop, say in the jmp back (unless you're using jmz) you could have a simple impgate in the b-field, right? [21:01] like JMP startscan, yes [21:03] excellent. [21:04] ill be king of the hill in no time [21:05] good luck then :) [21:05] my best wishes [21:06] ;) [21:08] You can use a djn.f-stream, too [21:08] sth. like "djn.f startscan, < stream" [21:15] thanks [21:33] yay-yay-yay, Yace came up with intelligent warrior while i was sleeping [21:33] bad thing is, it doesnt score wonderfully [21:33] intelligent?
