[17:09] this keeps bothering me [17:10] Idea is, that one has N numbers in an array, and arbitary numbers X and Y. One would search for X and Y values that accord to ((N * X) % Y) == array[N] [17:11] but it seemed that no results past third number were found in my two 8-number testset, X & Y [1,30000] [17:17] idea being that N numbers could be replaced with X & Y, with possible large saving with data compression, if just suitable X & Y were found [17:18] though by the time good X & Y were found, they would be already large enough for themselves to be the same size as the N numbers [17:21] everyone loves data compression, no?
